We have developed an application for one of the largest climbing centers in Moscow. The task included creating a small social network, automating information about training sessions, purchasing subscriptions, etc.

About
An application for climbers! Here, users can track their progress, share it with friends, book routes and sessions with instructors. Evaluation of route completion is done through a QR code at the end of the route
Challenge
Creating an application with no analogues. Climbing is a niche sport, so innovations have not yet penetrated this sphere. It was even more interesting to develop the interface without clear references and direct competitors
Feed
We have added the ability for climbers to view each other's progress, post updates, and react to posts in order to bring the entire community together in one application. This will also provide motivation for beginners to strive towards improving their skills by learning from the best
Tracking and recording workout sessions
It was important to make the workout tracking process as simple and intuitive as possible, so that climbers could quickly add their results after a strenuous climb and move on to the next route
Light & dark mode
To create theming in the app, tokens were used for light and dark themes. It was important not only to create color pairs, but also to establish a convenient structure
It was decided to divide the tokens into 3 groups: Background, Grayscale, Colors, and Static. This proved to be a successful solution as the use of static tokens added flexibility, and the separation of Colors and Grayscale prevented duplication of almost identical tokens.
Competitions & badges
To add gamification to the app, three models were implemented.
Achievements: Users can earn medals by completing achievements such as climbing 5 routes in one workout session, winning a competition, or completing a route of maximum difficulty.
Feed: Users can view and interact with the results of other climbers in a feed, allowing them to compare their progress and engage with the community.
Leagues: Leagues are introduced to encourage gradual skill improvement. Climbers can join leagues based on their skill level, allowing them to compete with climbers of similar abilities rather than only against professionals. This promotes a sense of healthy competition and progress among climbers.
Wallet
The purchase of a climbing pass was integrated into the app. Users can choose from several options for workouts and pay using a convenient payment method
Admin area
For the convenience of administrators and trainers, advanced functionality was added to the application
They can scan QR codes for clients, modify content in main sections, block users, and more
